Hong Kong's tax system is relatively simple, there is no value-added tax, sales tax, inheritance tax, and there is custom duties for certain individual products, namely alcohol, tobacco, hydrocarbon oil and methyl alcohol.
The types of Hong Kong Taxes are: property tax, income tax, salaries tax, stamp duty. And as different from majority of countries, Hong Kong only charge taxes for incomes derived from Hong Kong. Incomes which are not derived from Hong Kong are not assessable. But, it should note that, the fact that they are not required to pay tax in Hong Kong do not represent legitimate source of income, it is not required to pay the tax of relevant source of place / country.
